West Brom have tabled a bid of £1.5million for Victor Moses according to The Daily Mirror. Crystal Palace’s young forward has been earning rave reviews this season and West Brom hope to seal a deal for the player before interest from the Premier League materialises. Crystal Palace’s financial worries are increasing and they have been forced to put their prized asset up for sale; Albion have bid £1.5million but Palace are holding out for £2.5million.
The 19-year-old Moses is one of the hottest properties in the Championship and there is interest from Spurs and Liverpool amongst others. He has already scored five times this season and looks set to have a bright future in the game. He is quick, skilful and has a real eye for goal. West Brom believe that he will adapt to their style of play quickly and that they can persuade the youngster that with him in the side, promotion to the Premier League is a very real possibility. They are currently second in the division and Di Matteo is looking to bolster his squad as they seek to bounce straight back into the top-flight.
Moses himself is believed to be keen on a move to the Premier League with Spurs showing the keenest interest; however a move to White Hart Lane is likely to limit his playing time and Roberto Di Matteo is hopeful that the promise of first-team football with Albion and the likelihood of promotion will be enough to convince the youngster to sign for his side.
