Nigel Reo-Coker is set to decide where his future lies over the next week with several offers on the cards.
Sky Sports have reported that the former Aston Villa man has an offer on the table from West Brom, but the midfielder is keen to hold talks with Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg before making a decision.
The 26-year-old is currently a free agent after limited opportunities at Villa Park over the past couple years. The Englishman is most likely to favour a move to a Premier League club as it would give him more chance of earning a national call-up, but is still believed to be considering offers from abroad.
Sky Sports have suggested that there is interest across Europe from clubs such as Paris St. Germain, Dortmund and Valencia, but it is unknown as to whether any of the clubs have given concrete offers.
Reo-Coker is known to have held talks with West Brom, as well as being in negotiations with Red Bull Salzburg and it seems as though it could be a straight up decisions between the two clubs.
West Brom experienced a fantastic second half to the season after Roy Hodgson took over as boss and the former Liverpool manager is keen to add some steal to his midfield set up. The new boss wants to push on next season and finish as high up the table as possible but the former Inter boss will have to fend off interest from Premier League rivals as Newcastle are reportedly monitoring the situation after the departure of Kevin Nolan.
