West Brom and Swansea fans in the Transfer Tavern have been digesting their snacks with gossip concerning their clubs and the latest news relates to them both.
The Express & Star is reporting that the Premier League side have rejected a loan offer from fellow Premiership side Swansea City for defender James Chester.
It is reported that West Brom boss Tony Pulis shunned an approach from the Welsh side for Chester, who only joined that club for £8 million during the summer window.
Swansea are desperate to tighten things up at the back and saw Chester as an ideal signing for the club as they look to claw themselves away from those in the relegation places.
The Welsh side currently lie three points behind West Brom in 15th place and with the sides due to meet in the league tomorrow night, Albion boss Pulis has declared the defender unavailable for a move.
The West Brom fans are delighted with the decision to hold on to Chester and think the club should hold on to the defender as he can play an important role for the club during the remaining months of the season.
