West Brom supporters in the Transfer Tavern are thrilled with their side’s perfect start to the new Premier League campaign.
Tony Pulis has orchestrated a great start to the new Premier League campaign, yet the Welshman has stressed his desire to augment squad depth before the conclusion of the transfer window.
This isn’t the first time that the Baggies boss has expressed his desire to sign more players before the end of the summer window, and our landlord believes he’s found just the player to provide depth for West Brom at an affordable price.
West Ham’s Robert Snodgrass has been deemed surplus to requirements having only joined Bilic’s team in January.
The 29-year-old failed to score in 15 appearances for the Hammers.
However, he did register nine goals in 24 games for Hull before moving south.
The arrival of Snodgrass would provide the necessary depth that Pulis is yearning for, and with increased competition, there is a greater incentive for the Baggies’ attacking players to perform – knowing that their positions aren’t guaranteed.
The Scottish international has amassed considerable experience playing in the Premier League, and he’s also attained 23 caps for Scotland. West Ham’s winger is lauded for his terrific distribution and proficiency from dead-ball situations. Although it has been absent during his time in London, Snodgrass has an eye for goal and his goal involvement is typically excellent.
Our landlord believes firmly that Snodgrass ticks all the boxes as far as West Brom are concerned, the ball is in their court, they must act with haste.
