The West Bromwich Albion fans in The Transfer Tavern are having a friendly game of darts and discussing comments made by their goalkeeper about one of his team-mates.
The Birmingham Mail is reporting that Ben Foster has urged striker Saido Berahino to give up social media and keep his head down, following a transfer window which saw the want-away striker remain at the club.
Although this time, unlike in the summer when he announced his refusal to play for the owner again, there were no silly remarks from the striker to add fuel to the fire after a failed move to Newcastle United.
However, despite the lesson clearly being learnt by the former England U21 striker, Foster believes he still needs to make changes. Speaking about Berahino, he said:
“Nowadays with the likes of Twitter and Instagram and all that kind of stuff there’s people getting in touch with him from all over and different corners of the world. In all honesty the best thing for him to do is delete all that rubbish and just focus on playing football really.
The West Brom fans in The Tavern agree with their goalkeepers comments and think Berahino should keep his head down and concentrate on the club he is at.
Baggies fans, have you forgiven Berahino? Will you ever? Let us know in the comments below!
