West Bromwich Albion: Fans slam Sam Allardyce’s post-match comments - Premier League

Fans of West Bromwich Albion have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relayed Sam Allardyce’s post-match comments following the club’s 3-0 loss to Aston Villa.

Having sacked Slaven Bilic, who left the club sitting in 19th place in the Premier League table having picked up just seven points from their opening 13 league matches, the Baggies made the decision to appoint Allardyce as their new manager, with the fact the 66-year-old has never been relegated from the top flight undoubtedly being a major factor in his installation at the club.

However, things did not get off to the best of starts for the former England boss, as he saw his West Brom side succumb to a 3-0 home defeat to Aston Villa on Sunday.

And, after the match, Allardyce stated his belief that the Baggies are a side who ‘are going to have to battle’ their way through the rest of the season if they are to avoid a swift return back to the Championship, however, it would seem that his comments have not gone down too well with many of the West Brom supporters.
