Allan Nyom to remain at West Brom

Allan Nyom to remain at West Brom

West Bromwich Albion have been bracing themselves for a mass exodus this summer, however, it appears one man could be about to stay at The Hawthorns.

The Baggies will be preparing themselves for the upcoming Championship campaign and Darren Moore has been trying to limit the damage caused from their Premier League relegation.

A number of players have already left the club this summer, however, according to reports, it appears that Allan Nyom will be remaining at the club beyond the transfer window.

The Birmingham Mail are claiming that the Cameroon international is expected to stay, despite the player being unsure about his future at the club last month.

It is understood that Jack Stacey and Tom James could be set to join the club in the near future as advanced talks are thought to be underway, however, it is believed the 30-year-old will look to compete with them, rather than be replaced by them.

The Verdict:

Keeping Nyom at The Hawthorns makes sense for the Baggies this summer as the player will help to offer them some experience as well as the ability to play in different positions, which could be a huge bonus for Moore.

With the arrivals of James and Stacey expected, the African international will need to ensure he is at his best, however, he could also prove to be beneficial to the players who may come in.

The 30-year-old can be a helping hand for the duo as they both have not played at the second-tier level and could further develop their games with the help of Nyom.
