Burnley interested in Jay Rodriguez once again

West Bromwich Albion have started to struggle in the Championship recently, having not been able to get a win in their last four matches, which has seen them drop outside of the playoffs.

Darren Moore’s side had started the season well and the goals were flying in at a fast pace, however, their attackers appear to have hit a barren run.

However, that does not mean the Baggies will not need to brace themselves from interest in the January transfer window.

According to a report by Sky Sports, it is believed that Jay Rodriguez is still on Burnley’s radar, as they look to solve their own goalscoring concerns.

It is understood that the Clarets were unsuccessful in signing the forward in the summer, however, it appears Sean Dyche is prepared to test The Hawthorns outfit once again this winter.

The Verdict:

Rodriguez has been an important member of the West Brom side so far and the Baggies will desperately want to keep him as they look to get their promotion charge back on track.

The former Burnley striker already has eight goals to his name in the Championship and has built a formidable partnership alongside Dwight Gayle.

However, with the player’s hometown club thought to be circling again, it remains to be seen if West Brom can resist any more offers for Rodriguez once again when the January transfer market opens.
