Moore expected to make changes ahead of Luton visit

West Bromwich Albion host Luton Town on Tuesday night and Darren Moore could be about to make a number of changes to his squad.

According to a match preview by Sky Sports, the Baggies are likely to make a number of personnel changes to the side that beat Norwich City 4-3 at Carrow Road last Saturday.

The match was The Hawthorn’s third game in quick succession as they look to win promotion back to the Premier League and Moore will be keen to see his side go as far as possible in the cup competition.

However, it is likely that he will be without Craig Dawson once again, as the wantaway defender continues to recover from an ongoing thigh problem.

The defender had asked to leave the club during the summer and even tried to force a move away by handing an official transfer request, however, West Brom remained defiant in keeping him.

Gareth Barry could make his first appearance of the season, whilst Jay Rodriguez could look to lead the line and build on the two goals he scored against the Canaries, or Dwight Gayle could be utilised instead.

The Verdict:

West Brom should defeat their League One opponents comfortably, as Moore’s side will still have plenty of quality on the pitch.

Should Barry make an appearance, he will have plenty of experience available to use and will be able to ensure the Baggies approach the game in the right way.

However, with should West Brom take their eyes off the game for any reason, Luton could be dangerous enough to cause one of the biggest shocks of the first round.
