Moore has key players available for local derby

West Bromwich Albion will be preparing for their upcoming west-Midland derby clash with Birmingham City on Friday night as the Championship makes a return.

And, according to a match preview by Sky Sports, Darren Moore could have a number of players available to feature for the Baggies.

It is claimed the likes of Matt Phillips, James Morrison and Dwight Gayle are all expected to feature in some capacity at St. Andrews.

The striker, who is currently on loan from Newcastle United, has been in red-hot form for the Baggies and has proven to be a natural goalscorer in the second-tier of English football.

His goals, along with the likes of Jay Rodriguez, have helped take West Brom to ninth in the table after a slow start, however, with a win against their rivals, they could temporarily go into third spot.

It is also suggested that Oliver Burke will be available for Moore to select after the attacker had to withdraw from Scotland’s Under-21 side during the international break with an apparent knee injury.

The Verdict:

Moore will be delighted to have all his players available to feature for the derby game against Birmingham.

The Baggies have started to come into some form recently and they will be looking to carry on that run with a win against the Blues.

Having Gayle available will be a boost to the Hawthorns outfit and they will be hoping that he can continue to add to his goal tally for the season.
