Nacer Chadli attracting interest from Lyon

Nacer Chadli attracting interest from Lyon

West Bromwich Albion will be bracing themselves for offers for their current stars as interest still remains.

The Baggies have already seen a number of high-profile men leave The Hawthorns this summer, although it is expected that a few more could see the exit during the transfer window.

One man that could leave the Championship outfit is Nacer Chadli, with a report in The Times suggesting that Olympique de Lyonnais are interested in the World Cup star.

The Belgium international netted the winner for his country against Japan as he helped guide them to a third-place finish in Russia and saw his stock rise.

Chadli is thought to be considering his options at The Hawthorns, having told HLN via the Birmingham Mail in June that he had a number of offers on the table.

The 28-year-old was also rumoured to be attracting interest from Turkey last month and Trt Spor claim he held positive talks with Besiktas, however, a move has since failed to materialise.

The Verdict:

It still remains to be seen if Chadli will leave the Baggies this summer or if he will need to stay and fight for his place in the team.

There have been several links for the winger, especially after impressing with his performances for Belgium in the World Cup, however, nothing has come to fruition yet.

Chadli obviously has the talent and quality, but a move will now depend on whether Lyon or anybody else, will be willing to pay the asking price West Brom have for him.
