Newcastle fight West Bromwich for premership talent

Mike AshleyWith Premier League points and Europa League success to aim for, Fulham could be excused for looking to keep a full squad but The Sun believes that Diomansy Kamara is likely to be shoved out on loan in the immediate future. Championship promotion chasers Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion appear to be in a straight fight for the hitman with the Toon Army currently leading the way.

Chairman Mike Ashley still seems no further forward to making a sale of the club although sources suggest a buyer for £100m has been found but with the injury of Shola Ameobi, the club needs some new blood to keep up its impressive start. Caretaker boss Chris Hughton may be no closer to getting the job on a permanent basis but the loan capture of Kamara may indicate he will be in place until at least the January transfer window.

Newcastle United have started strongly in their bid to regain top flight status but with a long campaign ahead of them, additional signings would be very welcome at the St James Park club.

Would this signing be toasted with a Newcastle Brown Ale? Will Kamara put Newcastle in the picture for promotion? Should this rumour fly or die?
