West Bromwich Albion may find it difficult to offload one man this summer if they do not manage to get rid of him in the next couple of days, although that may not be a bad thing.
The Baggies were relegated from the Premier League last season after an abysmal campaign and Darren Moore has been fighting a huge task in trying to convince his star men to stay.
A number of players have already left The Hawthorns after making their feelings known about their future plans, whilst others are still pushing for the exit.
One man thought to be trying to leave the Championship outfit is Nacer Chadli, however, a report is now suggesting that he may have to stay with the Baggies if a club does not come calling quickly.
According to claims made by the Birmingham Mail, the Belgium international’s release clause of near £18million is set to expire at the end of July and West Brom will be in a position to ask whatever they want for him.
Chadli is desperate to get a move away from the Hawthorns as he still wants to be playing football at the highest level.
It is thought that talks between his representatives and Besiktas were positive, however, a formal offer has not yet been made and it remains to be seen if one does.
Should the former Tottenham Hotspur ace remain at West Brom this summer, they will have an unhappy man at the club, but someone who is certain to make a real difference to the side once the season gets underway.
