West Brom: Fans discuss Sam Allardyce decision - Premier League

West Bromwich Albion fans have been discussing Sam Allardyce’s call to put Conor Gallagher on corner kick duty instead of Matheus Pereira.

How well do you know West Brom's transfer business? First up, how much did Sam Johnstone cost in 2018? *Fees from Transfermarkt*

The Baggies opened the scoring in the first-half through a Kyle Bartley header that came from a Gallagher corner. Brazilian Pereira was previously given the responsibility of taking them, but Allardyce clearly felt a change was needed. That decision already seems to have paid dividends.

As the Midlands outfit look to stay in the Premier League, they will need all the goals they can get. Corners are a great way to create chances, so it is vital to have someone taking them who knows what they are doing.

Are you happy with Gallagher taking corners?

The change in corner kick taker did not go unnoticed by the club’s supporters, and they took to social media platform Twitter to share their thoughts.
