West Brom fans praise Livermore after contract extension

West Brom fans have taken to Twitter to celebrate midfielder Jake Livermore signing a new contract to keep him at The Hawthorns to 2022. 

The 7-cap England international has been ever present for The Baggies this season, as the club push on for promotion, and he will hope that he is plying his trade in the Premier League again next season.

The fans seem very happy with this news, praising the player’s performances so far this season in the midfield, and saying that it is thoroughly deserved. The only criticism that some fans had was that the contract is too long for a 29-year-old, and that they do not want the player to be tied down to the club when he is in his 30s, But overall, it was very positive from the fans.

The former Spurs player has been at the club almost two years now, after signing for them in January 2017 from Hull.
