West Brom: Fans talk about Jesse Lingard

Many West Bromwich Albion fans have been talking about the club’s links with a potential move for Jesse Lingard.
Sky Sports have recently reported that West Brom have made an enquiry to sign Lingard on loan in the ongoing January transfer window. The report has stated that Sam Allardyce has been attracted by the Englishman’s quality, even though a deal seems unlikely at this point of time.
The report goes on to state that the potential loan fee and the wages for the player could be an issue for the Baggies unless Manchester United decide to subsidise the finances involved in the move. Other clubs are also interested in the midfielder, but even they – like West Brom, are reportedly unwilling to meet Man Utd’s demands.

West Ham are also interested in Lingard and they have also made an approach about a potential loan deal. Real Sociedad and French side Nice were also linked with a move for the 28-year-old some weeks ago.
The report also went to say that Lingard’s agents have held talks with multiple clubs in England and Europe. The midfielder is a Europa League winner, having also won the League Cup and FA Cup.
This update about Lingard was relayed on Twitter by West Brom Live. Many Baggies fans then discussed the club’s interest in the midfielder.
