Last Saturday, West Bromwich Albion continued their blinding start to the Championship season when they blew away Reading, winning 4-1 at The Hawthorns. One man, in particular, impressed the fans and that was young Kyle Edwards. The young left-sided midfielder came off the bench to replace Tyrone Mears with around half an hour to go and the Baggies are keen to see more of him.

To make your debut in the Championship is no small feat and the fans will have really appreciated seeing the youngster step out on the pitch against Reading on Saturday. The impressive thing about Edwards debut is that when the 20-year-old entered the fray the game was still wide open at 1-1 and Darren Moore obviously trusted the young winger to help the swing the game, as they eventually ran out 4-1 winners.
Edwards failed to score or assist any of the three goals that went in whilst he was on the pitch, but that doesn’t mean his impact wasn’t felt. The youngster’s blistering pace was needed against Reading and the fans loved seeing one of their own make his debut in the Championship. Next up will be for the young winger to be given more action in the league, and that’s exactly what the fans want to see.

Very impressed, liked the way you wanted the ball and speed down the wing. Superb covering tackle as well. Great stuff
