West Bromwich Albion will be desperate to secure all three points against Brentford tomorrow having witnessed a number of teams around them pick up points this weekend.
The Baggies are in a promising position to secure automatic promotion to the Premier League, but this will all depend on whether Darren Moore’s side can ensure consistency from here on.
Interestingly, it appears as if the Midlands club are eyeing a potential addition, as according to the Express and Star, West Bromwich Albion are interested in signing Joe Lolley.
Albion are interested in Nottingham Forest winger Joe Lolley, but face an uphill struggle signing him.
Joe Lolley caught the eye during Nottingham Forest’s 5-5 draw with Aston Villa at Villa Park, in which the winger managed to score one goal and provided four assists for his teammates.
Luke Dowling remains keen on Lolley and hoped to bring him to The Hawthorns this season, but the winger’s performances in the Championship have started to catch the attention of Premier League clubs.
And, with the former Huddersfield Town man being an Aston Villa fan, it may be difficult to persuade him to join a club that are seen as one of Villa’s Midlands rivals.
Joe Lolley deserves a move to the Premier League having defied expectations in the Championship at the City Ground this season. He currently has seven goals and seven assists to his name, so it’s clear to see that he has the ability to contribute heavily in the final third.
West Brom already have the likes of Harvey Barnes and Matt Phillips in wide positions, but bringing Lolley to the club would be sure to bolster their chances of promotion.
