West Bromwich Albion managed to secure a point late on against Aston Villa on Friday night, thanks to a rather controversial goal from Jay Rodriguez.
The Baggies have been impressive under Darren Moore for the large majority of the current campaign, but they appear to be falling off the pace.
However, it appears as if Midlands club are eyeing a possible addition, as according to The Sunday People (09/12/ page 52) (via The 72), West Brom are plotting a move for Aleksandar Prijovic.
West Brom are interested in PAOK striker Aleksandar Prijovic.
Although, it looks as if they’ll face competition for the forward as Southampton and Crystal Palace are also thought to be interested.
The Serbian international has been scoring goals for fun in the Greek Super League and could be rewarded with a move to England in the January transfer window.
The Serbian, who is valued at £5.4 million (by Transfermarkt), has been banging in the goal at PAOK this season, so he could be a real asset in English football.
Indeed, the Baggies currently have Jay Rodriguez and Hal-Robson Kanu in their ranks, and Dwight Gayle on loan, so they could do with bringing in another attacker.
However, with a couple of Premier League sides also interested in his services, they may struggle to sign him.
