West Ham United are thought to be one of a number of clubs interest in one of Europe’s hottest talents.
According to Spanish outlet AS, The Hammers are just one of several teams believed to be interested in Joao Felix and have asked Benfica for their asking price.
It is claimed the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, AS Monaco, Bayern Munich and Milan are all holding some interest in the €120million teenager.
It has been stated that an unnamed Premier League side had a firm offer of €60million rejected in the winter transfer window, with the Primeira Liga outfit keen to get the full value of his release clause.
The 19-year-old has emerged into one of the hottest prospects in world football with his performances for Benfica this season, having hit six goals and providing a further three assists in just 12 appearances.
Scouts are thought to rate Felix extremely highly, with some believing that he has the potential to be similar or greater than Kylian Mbappe, per AS.
Felix has been taking the Portuguese league by storm this season so far and it is hardly surprising to see a number of clubs take an interest in him.
West Ham were believed to have been keen on him in the summer, per Sky Sports, however, they may be ruing the fact that they were unable to land him.
With Benfica wanting the €120million release figure for him, it could be difficult for The Irons financially to bring him to the London Stadium in the summer.
