West Ham board given ultimatum about Moyes that appears to have paid off

West Ham United fans in the Transfer Tavern will be waiting to see who the club brings in as manager, however, they could be set to see one player come back in the summer.

David Moyes was let go during the week as his contract at the London Stadium finished and the news would have been welcomed by many of the locals, including one of their players, according to reports in Spain.

Estadio Deportivo have claimed that Adrian had given the Hammers an ultimatum over his future, stating that he would leave should the manager remain. The 31-year-old had an indifferent year under the former Manchester United boss, having been in-and-out of the side as he was rotated with Joe Hart.

Landlord’s Verdict

The West Ham fans in the Tavern will have been pleased to see that Moyes has departed from the London Stadium, and will be delighted it could mean that Adrian will remain.

The Spanish goalkeeper has become a fan-favourite during his time with the Hammers, and with former club Real Betis interested in bringing him back to his homeland, they will want to make sure he returns, or that the club decides to look at other goalkeeping options in the summer.
