West Ham United fans will, by and large, have been excited with what they have witnessed from their team this season so far but will be keen for the team to improve and build on things in the summer.
The Hammers already have a rather exciting youth setup with a number of talented youngsters starting to emerge from the ranks and it appears the club are lining up a possible move to add another.
What’s the News?
According to a report by Aftonbladet, Malmo’s Amel Mujanic is thought to have attracted some interest from the Premier League side.
The midfielder has found it difficult to get an opportunity with the first-team and his agent, Ivan Klasnic, has revealed he could be forced to consider moving his client away from the Swedish outfit.
Although Mujanic is a talented player that would appear to have a bright future ahead of him, considering that he has already represented Sweden at the youth levels, whether a move to West Ham would benefit him is something that would need to be questioned.
The Hammers already have a number of talented players in their lineup at the moment and although the 17-year-old would certainly be deemed a talent for the future, a number of their current crop are finding it difficult to make the breakthrough.
Just as an example, Sead Haksabanovic is one individual that has been touted to have a bright future and is believed to be highly-regarded by those at the London Stadium, however, he is currently out on loan with Halmstads BK.
That is not to say that a move to the Premier League outfit would not be beneficial for the young Swede though, as he could certainly develop his game further and could be offered a chance in Manuel Pellegrini’s side should the circumstances present themselves, such as Grady Diangana.
West Ham fans, what do you make of the news surrounding the club’s interest in Mujanic? Do you think he could be a hit at the London Stadium in the future? Join in with the discussion below by sharing your thoughts with us.
