Our resident West Ham fans have been impressed with their season so far and are looking forward to seeing where they finish in the table this campaign.
However, the Hammers over by the bar are now getting excited for next season after the London Evening Standard reported that their club are set to confirm two transfer signings in the form of Manuel Lanzini and Havard Nordtveit.
Lanzini has been at Upton Park since the beginning of the season on loan from United Arab Emirates outfit Al Jazira but the Argentine has impressed his manager Slaven Bilic this term and could be rewarded with a permanent deal in a move that would cost around £7.4million.
In addition, the West Ham supporters are buying another round of drinks after our landlord informed them that their club have managed to overcome interest from rivals Liverpool and Arsenal in the race for Borussia Monchengladbach star Harvard Nordtveit, who is set to join in the summer on a free transfer.
The 25-year old’s main station of operation is as a defensive midfielder, though he is also capable of playing in defence, providing manager Bilic with a highly versatile player to strengthen his squad for next season.
West Ham fans, how happy would you be to see Lanzini and Nordtveit arrive on a permanent basis? Let us know in the comments below!Like what the TT have on offer? Sign up for more notifications!
