West Ham fans in the Transfer Tavern will be delighted with how their summer is going so far and will be hoping to still see some new faces arrive in the coming weeks.
Manuel Pellegrini has already been active in the transfer window ensuring his new side are ready for the upcoming Premier League season, in which he wants the Hammers to be competing for a place in European football.
The Chilean has already strengthened his goalkeeping and defensive areas of the pitch with the additions of Lukasz Fabianski, Ryan Fredericks and Issa Diop, as well as having added Jack Wilshere to the side.
However, according to reports in Italy, it appears Pellegrini is now determined to add some attacking threat to the Irons, with Tuttomercatoweb claiming that Sevilla’s Franco Vazquez is on their radar.
The Hammers are in need of a new number 10 following the injury to Manuel Lanzini and they feel the Italy international could help to solve those concerns and feel confident that a deal can be struck.
The West Ham fans will be pleased with the work that Pellegrini has done so far and would be happy to see a player of Vazquez’s ability at the London Stadium this summer.
The Hammers suffered a huge setback when Lanzini was injured during Argentina’s preparations for this year’s World Cup, however, the Italy international could easily fit into the same kind of role as he would certainly add some creative sparks to their side moving forward.
