West Ham United have completed their eighth signing of the summer as Manuel Pellegrini completes an overhaul of his squad.
The 29-year-old has joined former Gunners team-mate Jack Wilshere, Andriy Yarmolenko, Felipe Anderson, Lukasz Fabianski, Issa Diop, Ryan Fredericks and Fabian Balbuena in moving to the London Stadium.
The Spaniard will be looking to get his career back on track in the Premier League after having struggled to make an impact with Arsenal following his big-money move from Deportivo La Coruna, the side he spent last season on loan with as well.
Perez will now be hoping to make his debut for Pellegrini’s side when they face Liverpool at Anfield in their opening game of the new season.
Perez could become an inspired signing for West Ham this summer as they look to give him a chance in the Premier League.
The 29-year-old managed to make just 21 appearances for Arsenal during his time in north London, netting seven times, however, his goalscoring record across his career is not one to be disregarded.
During his nomadic career, which has included spells in Ukraine and Greece, Perez has an average of getting a goal every two-and-a-half games.
