West Ham United fans in the Transfer Tavern will be excited about the times ahead under Manuel Pellegrini as he looks to start a new era with the club straight away.
The new manager is keen to make an impact with the London Stadium outfit immediately and has already made a number of signings to help improve his squad to try and achieve the aims he has laid out.
The Hammers have already brought in Lukasz Fabianski, Issa Diop and Ryan Fredericks and look to be on the verge of completing a deal for Felipe Anderson, with the likes of Bernard and Jean Micheal Seri being rumoured as well.
Pellegrini is thought to be keen on bringing another centre-back to east London this summer as well as Diop and according to the Daily Mirror, he could be prepared to make a move for Aleksandar Dragovic.
The Austria international spent last season on loan at Leicester City, however, he returned to Bayer Leverkusen amid thoughts that he wants to remain in the Premier League.
The 27-year-old defender has been thought of highly in the game for a number of years and proved he could handle Premier League football during his loan spell with the Foxes last season.
Dragovic would offer some much-needed experience for the new defenders at the London Stadium, as well as helping with the development of the youngsters, which could be the difference to helping the Hammers achieve European football next season, something the locals in the Tavern will be desperate to see.
