West Ham United will be looking to quickly bounce back from their heavy defeat to Liverpool last weekend when they meet AFC Bournemouth.
The pair will come up against each other on Saturday afternoon in Manuel Pellegrini’s first competitive home game at the London Stadium.
The Hammers boss will be expecting an improved performance from his team, especially given the talent they now possess after a heavy spending spree.
Lucas Perez and Carlos Sanchez are both available for Pellegrini to select and could make their debuts for West Ham after they were both left out of the matchday squad for their trip to Anfield last Sunday.
The manager has also revealed that he has no new fresh injury concerns ahead of the game, although Andy Carroll, Manuel Lanzini and Winston Reid will all remain absent as the trio look to recover from their long-term injuries.
West Ham will want to quickly forget last weekend’s result and a win against Bournemouth could be the best way for them to do so.
The Hammers will be looking to show the rest of the Premier League of what they can do after a summer of spending on players who have certainly added quality to the side.
The game against the Cherries will give Pellegrini’s side a different kind of test than what they had last weekend, however, it will be one the manager expects them to be competitive in.
