West Ham United will have their sights set on securing a European spot after spending heavily during the summer transfer window.
The Hammers are yet to really build up ahead of steam under Manuel Pellegrini, with plenty of improvements still to be had in what will be a long, tiring Premier League campaign. Although, it appears as if the club are eyeing potential additions, as according to Calciomercato.com (via HITC), West Ham United are interested in Florian Thauvin.
West Ham United are interested in signing former Newcastle United winger Florian Thauvin from Marseille.
However, it’s thought that Italian clubs Napoli and AS Roma are also interested in the Frenchman.
Interestingly, the 25-year-old has scored a number of goals and has provided a number of assists in the Ligue 1 for Marseille so far this season.
And, with Andriy Yarmolenko currently sidelined after having surgery on his achilles, perhaps the Hammers are eyeing him up as a potential replacement.
Florian Thauvin has plenty of potential and has already shown his class over the past couple of seasons in France, with a move back to the Premier League being just rewards for his efforts.
The Hammers are really starting to get the best out of Felipe Anderson at the London Stadium, so they should seriously consider bringing in another impressive winger in the form of the Frenchman.
