West Ham fans were all taking to Twitter yesterday after they beat Birmingham 2-0 to confirm their spot in the FA Cup 4th round draw. The Hammers were delighted with their performance as a number of players stepped up, however, one man in particular who shone was Samir Nasri, who was voted as the fans’ man of the match on Twitter.

Nasri will have been influenced to join the Hammers by his former manager Manuel Pellegrini, and the fans will be buzzing that the link between the two stayed intact after they both left Manchester City. The Frenchman looks like he could be a brilliant signing at the London Stadium, and yesterday only showed that further as he stepped up to the plate on his debut, putting in a solid performance.
The Frenchman will be chomping at the bit to get his next start for the club, and he’ll be hoping he can make his full debut and complete 90 minutes sooner rather than later having just finished his 18-month doping ban. At the age of 31, the winger still has plenty to offer and the Irons will hope he can bring goals and assists to their side as they continue to try and climb up the table.

A lot to offer for the rest of the season Samir!

Anyone who thought this was not going to be a good signing was pretty naive. Classy on the ball, intelligent, great link up play. Good deal for a classy player

Can only help his confidence getting MOTM on his debut, so glad he got it.

The Hammers absolutely loved seeing Nasri shine on his debut, and will be keen to see more of the same from the Frenchman.
