Having made a host of signings this summer, West Ham are now looking to make some player sells.
And two potential casualties of the Hammers’ spending spree could be Pedro Obiang and Cheikhou Kouyate.
West Ham value Kouyate at £10m and with the addition of Jack Wilshere and the possible arrival of another midfielder, the Senegal international’s career at the London Stadium now looks to be over.
With Felipe Anderson and Andriy Yarmolenko joining West Ham alongside Wilshere, manager Manuel Pellegrini needs a player like £10.8m-rated (via Transfermarkt) Kouyate in his side to provide balance.
And given the fact that Obiang is also set to leave the club, selling Kouyate may not be the wisest of decisions unless the former Manchester City boss already has an adequate replacement lined up.
