West Ham fans on Twitter have been raving over flawless Snodgrass performance

Given what he’s gone through during his time as a Hammer, it seems crazy to think that Robert Snodgrass has been able to turn his career at the Stratford club around. However, that’s exactly what the creative midfielder has done, leading to the Irons dubbing him ‘the Scottish Messi’ as his performances improve week upon week.

When you line up against someone like Snodgrass, it’s absolutely imperative that you nullify his delivery. The ex-Hull City man’s ability to whip an inch-perfect ball into the box from open play or from a set-piece makes him a seriously dangerous player, and that’s exactly what Cardiff City failed to do as the Scottish winger laid on two of his side’s three goals as they walked to a comfortable 3-1 victory in rare mid-week Premier League action.
The fans are loving Snodgrass at the moment. He continues to defy expectations and shine in the club’s midfield and his work rate is exactly what the supporters demand of their players. At the age of 31 it looks like the winger doesn’t have many years left in him, but he seems determined to squeeze every minute he can out of his professional career and his graft for the Hammers isn’t going unnoticed by the fans.

Loads of the Hammers can’t quite believe how good Snodgrass has been this season and they’ll be desperate to see him keep his amazing form up over the busy Christmas period.
