West Ham have been in the headlines this summer after making a host of signings.
Felipe Anderson and Andriy Yarmolenko are just a couple names who have been brought in during the current transfer window, and the Hammers could yet add to the two big-money signings.
According to Sky Sports, West Ham are in talks with Sampdoria over the sell of Pedro Obiang and once the Spaniard is sold, the club could then make a move for Southampton’s Mario Lemina.
Manager Manuel Pellegrini is clearly not one hundred percent satisfied with his midfield options.
Despite the addition of Jack Wilshere, the former Manchester City boss is trying to bring in Juventus’ Stefano Sturaro to strengthen his side in the middle of the park, according to the Italian’s agent (via Gazzetta dello Sport).
But the east London club now appear to have turned their attention towards Sturaro’s former team-mate Lemina, who is valued at £13.5m by Transfermarkt.
The powerful box-to-box midfielder would be a terrific addition to West Ham’s squad, and could be the perfect partner for Wilshere in the centre.
Take a look at what West Ham fans are saying on Lemina’s potential arrival at the London Stadium below…

If selling Obiang means potentially signing Mario Lemina, then I'm all for it

Lemina would improve us. Juve bought him for a reason. Just rather sell kouyate then obiang personally

Sell Kouyate and sign Lemina would be better

I know a lot of people love Pedro Obiang, but if he leaves for Sampdoria I wouldn’t be devastated
