West Ham fans on Twitter once again raving over Declan Rice

West Ham United have got a very special player on their hands in Declan Rice. The young defender turned defensive midfielder has got it all in his locker and the fans will be keen to keep him around for as long as possible, especially after he put in yet another top-drawer performance against Leicester City on Saturday.
Gutted to concede so late & not come away with 3 points.. but we will take that point! Thank you to the fans that traveled thoughts also go out to Amartay, wishing him a speedy recovery. #COYI

West Ham United were just minutes away from a huge three points on the road as The Hammers held a narrow 1-0 win over Leicester City at The King Power Stadium, however, the ten men of West Ham were dealt a cruel blow when a huge deflection from a Wilfred Ndidi effort found the back of the net, compounding The Irons to a 1-1 draw which sees them remain 13th in the Premier League, five points behind 12th placed Leicester.
Whilst Declan Rice had another class game, he was let down by his midfield partner, Mark Noble, who made the task of winning at The King Power even more difficult than it already was by getting himself dismissed in the first half. It would have been easy for Rice to hide for the rest of the game after his captain was given his marching orders, but instead the youngster stepped up to the plate and delivered, and in the end, he was just minutes away from helping to secure a memorable win.

The Hammers have run out of superlatives to use for Rice and will be hoping he can carry on his form and pen a new contract at The London Stadium.
