West Ham fans on Twitter reminisce over Scott Parker

To play for West Ham and then switch directly to Tottenham and still be loved by the Hammers you have to be a special player, and that’s exactly what Scott Parker is. The England midfielder spent four years at Upton Park before moving to Spurs, and seeing as yesterday was his birthday, the club tweeted a video of all of his West Ham goals.

Scott Parker is a truly special player. Everywhere he played he made the fans smile with his performances and he was a player who could do it all. He scored some special goals in his time and also had the hard graft to help his side. He will always be remembered as a hero by West Ham fans and one day they’ll be keen to see the 38-year-old return to the club as a coach or a manager.

At the moment, Parker is currently working alongside Slavisa Jokanovic as a first-team coach at Fulham in the Premier League after he left his role with the Tottenham Hotspur U18s. The Hammers would love to see him progress in his coaching career and one day return to West Ham as a manager, although at the moment, that looks a long way off, especially seeing as Manuel Pellegrini has got this West Ham side firing now.

The Hammers will always love Parker and will love to see him return to the club in some capacity in the future.
