West Ham fans take to Twitter to laud Masuaku’s brilliance

West Ham fans are having a very merry Christmas at the moment. The Hammers have enjoyed four wins out of four in the Premier League in December, and are currently 4th in the form charts for the top flight. It always helps, though, when you’ve got someone like Arthur Masuaku who plays like he did yesterday in the Hammers’ 2-0 away win.

Never have truer words been spoken than there’s never an easy game in the Premier League. However, if you were to pick a side who you anted to play at the moment, the chances are you’d have Fulham pretty high up on your list. The Cottagers have been in dreadful form, and Claudio Ranieri’s arrival has done little to improve theior fortunes so far, with the Irons compounding more misery on them.

It was a professional performance from start to finish yesterday, and having Masuaku at his absolute best was a massive boost for the Hammers. Manuel Pellegrini has opted to rotate his left-back’s at times this seson, but mostly it’s been up to the 25-year-old to perform, and just like he did in the three previous matches, the Congolese international stepped up and did the necessary, shining brightly for his side throughout the full 90 minutes in their 2-0 win.
