The Hammers had taken the lead when Robert Snodgrass found the back of the net just before half-time, but were pegged back by a Lys Mousset strike on the 69th minute.

It is a result which leaves West Ham in ninth place in the Premier League table, seven points adrift of the top four (via BBC Sport).

It also means that the Londoners have now gone four matches without a win in the league, having drawn with AFC Bournemouth and lost against Crystal Palace and Everton (via Transfermarkt).

As a result of their poor performance, some fans have become disillusioned with manager Pellegrini, and several were calling for his head on social media after the game.

The Chilean took over at the London Stadium in 2018 and led the Hammers to a 10th place finish in the Premier League in his first campaign at the club (The Independent).

However, he has been heavily backed in the transfer market with players such as Sebastian Haller, Pablo Fornals and Felipe Anderson arriving under his management.

Fans therefore expect better results than what they have been getting recently, and some are now fed up of Pellegrini and want him to be sacked…
