West Ham in talks about loan move for Stefano Sturaro

West Ham United have already had success in the summer transfer window with the additions they have made, however, it looks as though the club are continuing to try and land some of their other targets.

The Hammers have already landed eight signings, with Xande Silva becoming the latest man to join them from Vitoria Guimaraes, as Manuel Pellegrini looks to strengthen them as much as possible.

However, it appears that he has not finished with his transfer business just yet, with reports suggesting that the club are looking at landing a midfielder on a temporary basis.

According to The Daily Mail, the Hammers have held talks with Juventus about a loan deal for Stefano Sturaro as they look to bolster the middle of the field.

The 25-year-old is thought to be allowed to leave Turin, however, he has a number of suitors considering a move for him, including Fiorentina.

The Verdict:

Sturaro is expected to leave Juventus this summer as competition for places has become even more competitive following the arrival of Emre Can.

However, with West Ham having already added the likes of Jack Wilshere and Felipe Anderson to the middle of the side, it remains to be seen how the Italy international could fit into the London Stadium outfit.

A loan deal would make the most sense for the Hammers at the moment, although it could be difficult for the Juventus man to make an impact in the Premier League.
