West Ham United fans will be desperate to forget about yesterday’s performance as their side were simply outclassed by Everton at the London Stadium.
The Hammers will need to seek immediate improvements if they are to stand any chance of securing a European spot in the current campaign. Of course, after spending such a large amount of money back in the summer transfer window it’s safe to say that things haven’t worked out how David Gold and David Sullivan would have liked.
Nevertheless, it appears as if the London club already have their eyes on a summer swoop.
What’s the news?
West Ham United are interested in signing Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson, according to The Sun.
However, the London club could face stiff competition with the likes of Chelsea and Everton also interested.
The forward loves scoring against West Ham United having produced three goals in his last four Premier League games against the London club.
West Ham fans will agree that signing a striker must be the priority in the summer transfer window as the likes of Lucas Perez, Andy Carroll, Javier Hernandez and Michail Antonio have all failed to ensure a consistent flow of goals.
Wilson has been simply sensational in the current campaign, producing 12 goals and seven assists in all competitions, so he could definitely fill the void at the London Stadium.
However, the one big worry for the Hammers is the fact that both Everton and Chelsea could secure a European spot in the current campaign, which could tilt the race in their favour.
West Ham United fans, would you like to see Wilson at the London Stadium?
