West Ham signed the player on a season long loan from Al Jazira for a fee of £1 million, with a £10 million fee required for the player should they decide to make the move permanent; an option chairman David Gold confirmed the Hammers have.

But impressive form has seen the players stature grow, and it is now believed that a number of European clubs are interested in a move for the Italian. West Ham are likely to want to conclude the deal in January, before his value soars and other clubs begin a bidding war for the player.

Lanzini has started six games for West Ham this season and has played an important role in Slaven Bilic’s side’s good start to the season, and the club will be looking to not be gazumped when hoping to buy the player.

West Ham fans in The Transfer Tavern are determined that Lanzini will fit in permanently at the club and are fully behind the club when it comes to signing him.
