The West Ham fans in the Transfer Tavern are hoping to enjoy a slightly better season next year…
Despite recovering over the last few months, a poor start has really cost Slaven Bilic’s side – with the hope of finishing in the top-half the only genuine goal for the Hammers now.
It is certainly disappointing, considering the majority of the Hammers in the Transfer Tavern were hoping that their side would challenge for Europe this season, but it just wasn’t to be for the London-based outfit.
More will certainly be expected of Slaven Bilic next season, and so a few new signings are absolutely essential this summer.
It appears as though the manager is well aware of that fact, too, with his summer preparations reportedly already getting underway. According to Tutto Mercato Web, West Ham are set to join Leicester City in scouting defender Kevin Bonifazi this weekend.
Currently playing for SPAL 2013 in Serie B, where he has been impressive this season. He is currently on loan from Serie A side Torino FC, where he is set to return at the end of the season.
Currently 20-years-old, he is certainly an option for the future of West Ham, should they be able to secure a deal.
He is a real force in the air, as the goal below shows…
