West Ham look to agree four-year deal with Andriy Yarmolenko

West Ham United fans in the Transfer Tavern will be pleased with the work the club has managed to do this summer and will be hoping for it to continue.

The Hammers have been fairly active in the transfer market this summer as Manuel Pellegrini looks to stamp his authority on his new squad.

The Chilean is keen to turn his team into a side that will challenge for European football by means of playing attractive football and he has certainly proved to take the squad in that direction.

He has already bolstered his defence up, however, the attacking options that he has been looking at bringing to the London Stadium will go a long way in helping him achieve those aims.

In fact, according to a report by Sport1 in Germany, Pellegrini could be about to make another addition that would make life in East London very exciting.

It is being claimed that the Hammers are on the verge of completing a deal for Borussia Dortmund’s Andriy Yarmolenko and the Ukraine international is expected to sign a four-year contract.

The Verdict:

The Ukrainian winger has struggled to make an impact since joining the Bundesliga outfit last summer and it appears they are ready to cut their losses on the player, which will only mean a gain for West Ham.

With the arrival of Jack Wilshere and the strong possibility of Felipe Anderson also arriving, Yarmolenko would certainly help boost the squad in terms of attacking threat and creativity and could prove to be a steal for the Hammers.
