West Ham look to bring familiar face back to England in £20m deal

DzekoWest Ham fans here in the Tavern are currently drinking to their most successful season for a while and looking forward to what the next couple of campaigns could have in store.

Currently in fifth place, just a point off the Champions League places with eight games remaining, and with an FA Cup quarter-final replay coming up, the Hammers could be set for a spectacular ending to the season.

The move to the Olympic Stadium in the summer could mean even bigger and better things in the coming seasons and they are already being linked with several big names.

Hammers’ fans are probably still pinching themselves with some of the quality they already have in their squad, but here they are again discussing whether Edin Dzeko could be set for a sensational return to the Premier League- as reported by TalkSport.

The Bosnian, currently in Serie A with Roma, is interesting the Hammers and boss Slaven Bilic who could be prepared to pay £20 million for his services in the summer.

He already has a decent Premier League pedigree, scoring 50 times in 130 league appearances whilst at Manchester City and after a year in Italy he could be set to return to England.

A player of his calibre would be a considerable coup for West Ham but it wouldn’t be one that Hammers fans here would be surprised with as they see really, really good times ahead for their club.

One thing is for sure, by signing players with the pedigree of Dzeko then they give themselves the best possible chance.

Hammers fans, would Dzeko improve your forward ranks? Let us know in the comments below!
