The West Ham fans in the Transfer Tavern are delighted that a long, hard season is now coming to an end with the Hammers securing their Premier League safety with games in hand.
It didn’t look so certain before the Leicester game but ‘Mr West Ham’ Mark Noble stepped up to ensure the victory belonged to West Ham.
Fans of the Hammers haven’t been happy all season in all honesty though and this summer will prove to be make-or-break as to whether West Ham have the ambition to better themselves or whether the owners are happy with where they are.
If it’s the first plan to be more ambitious, then one player our punters believe could turn into a top player at the London Stadium is Czech Republic right-back Pavel Kaderabek, who is valued at £7.65 million by Transfer Markt. The 26-year-old currently plays for German side Hoffenheim and has made 33 appearances so far this season, scoring 2 and setting up four goals for his team-mates.
West Ham have been one of the worst defensive units in the Premier League this campaign and the first step to improving the club would defiantly be tightening up their back-line. Kaderabek can also play as a right-midfielder as well as right-back and he would provide West Ham would a more attacking option as opposed to Pablo Zabaleta.
Hammers will bare in mind that the Premier League and the Bundesliga are very different but with the form Pavel Kaderabek has shown this season, West Ham may just secure a very tidy player this summer if they pursue his signature.
