West Ham fans in the Transfer Tavern might not believe us on this one but trust us, it might be happening!
The Hammers are thought to be interested in bringing former Stoke City man Peter Odemwingie back to the Premier League, according to the Sun (via Football Insider).
He’s set to train with the Hammers’ first-team this week, where boss Slaven Bilic will asses his performance ahead of any potential move to the Olympic Stadium.
It would serve as a huge move for the 35-year old, who became footballing royalty after he tried to force through a move to QPR by driving down to the club back in 2013.
But away from motorway antics, the South African international will be looking to secure a move back to the Premier League after a good loan spell at Bristol City towards the end of last season.
Now, with the Irons lacking a little attacking menace ahead of the Premier League campaign, the former Stoke City man could be an option, even if it’s just from the bench.
So West Ham fans, is this motorway menace the man for you? Leave your thoughts in the comments below!
