West Ham United won’t want to suffer a repeat of the first half of last season as they flirted with the possibility of relegation.
There’s no reason as to why the Hammers shouldn’t enjoy a strong campaign next time round having drafted in a number of high-profile players so far this summer. And, it appears as if Manuel Pellegrini isn’t finished just yet, as according to Sky Sports, West Ham United are on the verge of signing Harold Moukoudi from Le Havre.
It’s believed that the Hammers are set to pay a fee of around £10.7 million for the France U20 international.
Moukoudi is a powerfully-built centre-back who made his first-team debut for Le Havre in 2016.
The London club have already spent more than £100 million on a number of quality players this summer, so there’s no reason as to why they can’t push for a European place this season.
Interestingly, it looks as if the Hammers are set to splash the cash once again as they close in on the signing of Le Havre’s Harold Moukoudi.
West Ham United should be able to push for a European spot this season and may even upset a few of the big guns, as Manuel Pellegrini continues to make positive changes at the London Stadium.
Although, having spent over £100 million on transfers already, the pressure is very much on the London club to deliver consistently good performances for supporters.
