West Ham prepare to break transfer record to land coveted superstar, set to initiate talks

LacazetteWest Ham fans are licking their lips in the Football Transfer Tavern at the prospects of seeing this world-class striker next season.

Since Slaven Bilic has arrived at the Boleyn Ground, the Hammers have improved dramatically but the Daily Mail have reported that they are in talks with Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette.

There is no doubt West Ham would have to break their transfer record in order to bring the 24-year-old to London, a record which was set in 2013, when they signed Andy Carroll for £15 million from Liverpool.

It is believed that West Ham will hold talks with the forward as they look to make him their marquee signing, prior to moving into the Olympic Stadium.

Last season Lacazette established himself in world football after scoring 27 goals and being voted Player of the Year in France, bearing in mind he is the same division as Zlatan Ibrahimovic…
