West Ham United fans have enjoyed a historic season in the Transfer Tavern, which could still get better if they sneak into the Champions League spots, and with the impending move to the Olympic Stadium, it’s certainly an exciting time for the east London giants.
It’s set to be a busy summer for the Hammers and a name has been revived onto Slaven Bilic’s wish-list, as The Daily Express cite reports which indicate West Ham will return for Roma ace Adam Ljajic this summer.
Ljajic was chased by the Hammers last summer but elected to join Inter Milan on-loan instead, whilst there’s also other interest from the Premier League with Liverpool and Manchester United having both linked with the 24-year-old.
Inter’s financial issues are making it impossible for them to sign Ljajic on a permanent deal this summer, which opens the door for West Ham to complete a move for the experienced Serbian international.
With West Ham likely to be able to offer both regular football and European competitions to their target, it certainly seems like an appealing move for the player.
