West Ham United are thought to be in the market for a new striker this January and it appears they could turn to the Championship for their next addition.
The Hammers are believed to be readying a bid for the 22-year-old worth around £10million to land him before Thursday’s deadline.
The striker has been in red-hot form for Garry Monk’s side this season, having fired 14 goals in his 28 Championship appearances so far.
Birmingham are desperate to keep their star forward, however, West Ham and Southampton are thought to be ready to test their resolve with an offer.
Adams appears to be the latest name to be linked with a move to the club this January as West Ham look for a new striker.
And, it is hardly surprising to see his name be mentioned recently with a switch to the London Stadium with the kind of form he has been showing.
However, with Birmingham reluctant to let the 22-year-old go, The Hammers could have a testing few days to try and get a deal across the line before Thursday’s deadline.
