West Ham United may have added heavily to their ranks in the summer, however, it appears they remain interested in bringing new faces to the London Stadium this January.
Manuel Pellegrini has seen the likes of Fabian Balbuena and Issa Diop excel at the back for the Hammers in their first six months, but it appears he could be handed the opportunity to sign another talented centre-back.
The defender was a standout for his country as Croatia managed to make it to the World Cup final in the summer.
His performances earned him a lot of recognition in the summer transfer window, however, it appears that he could be available for a bargain fee of €12million this winter as Besiktas look to solve their financial issues.
There is no doubt that Diop and Balbuena have performed to a high standard at West Ham so far this season and have made a huge difference to the side.
However, with a player like Vida thought to be available for what would be considered a bargain price, it should be something the Hammers look to capitalise on.
The 29-year-old would be a solid acquisition and the amount of experience he has could prove to be beneficial to the London Stadium and Pellegrini’s aims of achieving European football.
