West Ham United are looking to offload one man this summer on a temporary deal so he can get regular minutes.
It was understood that the highly-rated youngster was to stay at the club this season with Manuel Pellegrini thought to be keen on using him at some point during the campaign.
However, it now appears that the 19-year-old, who can play in defence or midfield, could be set for another move away from the capital following the spells he spent in Germany with Borussia Monchengladbach.
It is believed that there will not be a problem sending Oxford on a temporary deal, with suitors all across Europe thought to be interested in the young English talent.
Despite Pellegrini’s earlier intentions of keeping Oxford at the London Stadium, it should not really come as a surprise to see him on the move once again.
He is extremely talented and would certainly fit in the Hammers squad in the near future, however, with the number of additions the Irons made, it would have been difficult for him to break into the first-team.
A loan move away from the club will be beneficial to both parties, especially if the £4.5million-rated centre-back (via Transfermarkt) could head abroad and play regular football in their respective top-flight division.
